Week 3 Monday – Heb 9:15,24-28; Mark 3:22-30
Thanks to Jesus, we understand that death is not the final chapter. This isn’t limited to the physical death of our bodies; it encompasses every form of loss we experience in life. We face countless deaths along our journey: the loss of dreams, the ending of relationships, and the dismantling of our plans. We also grapple with various losses in our health, work, and finances.
Yet, Jesus reveals that death need not be viewed solely as a tragedy. While it can be profoundly painful – sometimes excruciating – it is through these experiences of loss that we can truly encounter resurrection. When we accept the reality of death and surrender our pain and suffering to God, refraining from blaming Him or others, we open ourselves to a deeper understanding of our circumstances. By embracing our challenges with a spirit of sacrifice, we pave the way for transformation.
In this process, everything can become different – new and renewed through the grace of God.
