Easter Wednesday – Acts 3:1-10; Luke 24:13-35

Have they seen His miracles and yet doubted? Did they leave Jerusalem in fear? Even the Apostles fled from beneath the cross – but it was for this very reason that the Risen Jesus appeared to them, to fortify their hearts. The disciples on the road to Emmaus recognised Him only when He made Himself known in the breaking of bread.

Today, Jesus reveals Himself through signs that might seem less literal, as He no longer appears in human form. Yet every day, He offers clear evidence of His presence. He helps us overcome adversity, revealing Himself in both our small victories and in the moments when we stumble, lifting us up once again. Often, He manifests in challenging interactions and even in our difficult neighbours. All it takes is for us to open the eyes of our heart and return to the Source, just as the disciples returned to Jerusalem.

Thank You, Lord, for being with me always. Strengthen my faith, so I may never forget Your presence in every event of my life.
