Wednesday of Week 28 – Gal 5:18-25; Ps 1:1-4,6; Luke 11:42-46
It’s always worth having before us this attitude: who I am and what I do for the Kingdom of God does not result from my desires. It doesn’t depend on me. It is Jesus who chose and called, endowed abilities and charisms.
I can refuse to cooperate with Him – then what is good and valuable in me is degraded, because good and beauty should be shared. When I keep it to myself, I destroy it.
When I begin to cooperate with Jesus, looking at it as nothing that deserves His grace, then loneliness, being hurt and humiliated won’t be such a big problem.
The Lord Himself will support me, and further, He will place people on the road to help.
