Thursday, Week 3 – Heb 10:19-25; Ps 23:1-6; Mark 4:21-25

The sanctuary, the curtain, the high priest – these concepts may seem foreign to us as non-Jews, yet we share a similar longing: the desire to one day meet God and dwell in His presence. This opportunity is made possible through the blood of Jesus. He serves as our “curtain,” not a barrier that separates us, but rather a living gateway that invites us in.

What matters most is that, because He died for us and referred to His disciples – and us – as friends, we can claim a profound connection to that sacred space. We must remain vigilant, approaching God with pure hearts and sincere faith, while letting go of any sin that may dwell within us. After all, we have been cleansed in the waters of baptism: immersed in Christ’s death and renewed by His blood, enabling us to live for God.

Let us hold tightly to this hope, for it is unique and unwavering in a world that offers no other.
