Easter Monday – Acts 2:14,22-32; Ps 16; Matthew 28:8-15

The Risen Christ is like candlelight in the dark: gentle, steady, and impossible to ignore.
The women went to the tomb expecting death, carrying spices for a body. Instead, they met Life itself. Jesus greeted them, and in that instant everything changed. Fear gave way to joy, sorrow to wonder, grief to worship.
That empty tomb still speaks today. It tells us that death does not have the final word, and that Christ is alive. The Resurrection is not just something to admire from a distance; it is a reality that should shape the way we live, think, and hope. If we truly believe in the Risen Lord, then it ought to show in us.
I want my own life to be marked by that same Easter light. I want others to see, not just a man getting through life, but a disciple who trusts in Jesus, believes in eternal life, and lives with hope. The empty tomb changes everything. It can change us too.
