Monday of Week 28 – Gal 4:22-24,26-27,31-5:1; Ps 113:41,43-45,47-48; Luke 11:29-32
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Gal 4
True freedom begins when we recognise God’s abiding presence in the quiet, ordinary moments of our day.
When we feel weighed down by anxiety, heavy duties, or our own human frailties, Saint Paul offers us a powerful reminder: as children of God, we are made free in Christ.
This Christian freedom is not a licence to live selfishly; rather, it is the glorious liberation for love, peace, and holy joy. The Lord constantly reaches out to lift us from our weaknesses, inviting us to surrender our fears, sins, and worldly pressures into His merciful hands.
- Notice His grace: Where have you seen God’s gentle hand at work today?
- Live in truth: Do your choices flow from divine freedom or earthly expectations?
- Give thanks: Have you taken a moment to praise Him for His unceasing care?
Take courage today. Offer a simple prayer of gratitude, entrust all that enslaves you to the Lord, and walk joyfully in the authentic freedom that Christ so lovingly bestows upon you.
