Seventh Wednesday of Eastertide – Acts 20:28-38; John 17:11-19

If here in this world a person gave their life for us, we would remember them with gratitude to the end of our days and talk about them at every opportunity.

Whereas this is exactly what happened. It is Jesus Christ, not only a man, but also God Himself, who gave Himself to death on a cross in order to save each one of us – you and me.

Do we recall Him with gratitude to the end of our days? Do we talk about Him at every chance?

Father, You gave us Your Son, Jesus, and He gave His life for us. I entrust my loved ones to You. You gave them to me. Thank You for those recall now . . . And I ask You to sanctify them. Amen.
