Tuesday of Week 15 – Is 7:1-9; Ps 48; Matthew 11:20-24
Our ongoing conversion is a journey of holy remembrance. We are called to build a treasury in our hearts, filled with memories of the miracles – both great and small – that the Lord has worked in our lives. This sacred collection is our greatest defence against a hardened heart.
These memories are a healing balm for our spiritual sight, allowing us to perceive the invisible reality of God’s love that surrounds us always. When we recall His past faithfulness, even present trials are transformed into opportunities for grace. It is often in the shadows that we see His light most clearly, witnessing the profound ways He strengthens, comforts, and restores us.
If our path were always easy, we might miss the beautiful tapestry of His constant care. Let us cherish these memories, for they are the living proof of a God who never ceases to work wonders in our lives.
