Pentecost – Acts 2:1-11; Ps 103:1,24,29-31,34; 1 Cor 12:3-7,12-13; John 20:19-23
Two powerful scenes shape our faith today. At Babel, confusion shattered unity – people talked but no longer understood. We know this pain: old friends drift, conversations turn hollow or heated.
At Pentecost, the Spirit reversed Babel. Strangers suddenly heard and understood because love for Jesus united them.
The same Spirit still works. When He fills our hearts, walls fall and real connection returns.
Holy Spirit, renew in me the greatest gift – Your love. Dust it off, set it ablaze again, so I may speak with clarity, listen with kindness, and build bridges instead of barriers. Without Your love, my words are just noise. With it, they become life.
